“New Annuities?”

“I’ve been reading there are new annuities that operate like brokerage (investments) accounts. The advisor is paid a fee and the cost of the annuity is lower than most traditional annuities. I’m looking to hide some money from myself… I inherited $200,000 unexpectedly. I’m 16 years from retirement and would like to tuck this away and forget about it until then. I would like to avoid paying income taxes along the way as well.

One of these new annuities might be the answer – what would you recommend?”
