“I Want To Gift All My Stock To My Family”

“I’m 75 and I’d like to know how to go about gifting stock. I’d like to take all of my stock and split it 6 ways among family members. Does my tax liability go to them as well? My granddaughter is 18 and going to college – should I wait until she’s out of college to gift her the stock?”
